Our Brand Name:
As a result of being a part of the deaf community, my husband and I received sign names. They were based on my favorite animal and his sweet personality, but intimidating looks. Llama and Teddy Bear were created. These names capture us so well, so we decided to run with it!
Our Experience:
BLC started during the Covid-19 pandemic. We both were unemployed and had nothing but time to dream.
- I wanted to create something to make people smile.
- I wanted to publish a book.
So we got to work. I started making cards for people who were going through a tough time. Then every day we threw ideas at each other about a potential book series.
Our Mission:
After all these years, we have become proficient in writing, editing, graphic design, web design, creativity, and compassion. We understand how difficult it is to be a small business owner.
